A project I created during the first year of my MA course, for the Post Office Museum. The brief involved two characters receving a letter by post. Something that inspired me was the slogan of 'sending your best wishes by post' and how I could bring a magic to the old system of postal service, and what could be hidden in the red postbox!
Early storyboard,of the special stamped letter being posted and received. To be delivered by a little robot living inside the postbox, who goes on a magical journey to reach the Wishmaker.
Initial designs for the two characters and the developed outcome.
Mixture of crafted hand-painted characters and enviroments, with digital techniques to make the animation.
