A character design project, creating a four legged fictional animal.

A character design brief, based on inspirations of a four legged animal. Including developing these into a fantasy based form. I researched what could symbolise the creative spirit, such as genies or daimons (which were creatures of mythology that I had never seen adapted to a graphic form).
Researching the Mustelid family of animals and other creatures with interesting features, at places like The Hunterian Museum
and The Zoological Society London.
Developing a series of character ideas, combining the inspiration of the animals with fantasy features.
Final designs above, which i later animated on a walk and run cycle using Adobe After Effects.
